You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.

But it's time to face the truth,
I will never be with you.

Since you premised the question with "pleasant", then I choose surprises. In this context the surprises can only be pleasant surprises (otherwise the day will not be pleasant, right?).

And who would not want a pleasant surprise to perk up your day?

The word “surprise” gives bad or good meaning. It doesn’t always interpret to be pleasant.

Having a day to day routine with a smile on my face makes my day pleasant.

A little of both. I like getting surprises from otherwise routinary activities, coz it makes the surprise that much more exciting! Kinda like opening an everyday college textbook to find that your crush slipped a sweet note in it, or finding out that your new business partner is actually a distant relative. ^_^

Surprises but only the pleasant types.

Surprises are what make my day pleasent.

I have too much routine in my life and it can seem dull at times. Don't get me wrong, I love my life, but too much routine isn't good.

Routine stuff, there's beauty in routine when you face it with a new attitude each day.

I am pretty well (no pun) set into a routine. I don't mind pleasant surprises.
