Hello, all! I was wondering how many of you out there that played the game thought it was the best game they've ever played. If you are under 17, give your opinion on violence in games instead.

I LOVED it, it is definitely one of the best games I've ever played. I'd give it a 9/10. And honestly, I like the sequel even better.

It was entertaining, and the boss fights took a bit more thought than the standard "find the weak spot, shoot the weak spot" routine. However its main disadvantage is that it was basically just a clone of Devil May Cry. The combat style, camera angles, style of boss fights, weapon upgrades, special abilities...hell, even the little red things the enemies drop that you use to power yourself up... I can't believe nobody else sees that.
I give it a 6/10. It would score an 8, except Devil May Cry had the idea first.

I thought it was very entertaining. The boss battles were engaging since they required you to puzzle out a strategy. However, that final boss battle was sooo hard. I think I scared my roommate because I was swearing so much.

dont know about the best i've ever played but i thought it was an excellent game, certainly among the best

i thought both god of war 1 and god of war 2 were pretty good
and it makes you wanna go buy ps3 and wait for the 3rd one to come out
