About the Alien that a family found and he lived w/ them.
It was not animated and I think It was late 70's or early 80's.
He was a cute furry alien that always tried to eat the cat.

ALF - Alien Life Form. The show was in the early to mid 80's. ALF also did commercials a few years back, but I can't recall what he sponsored.

I liked the show when I was a kid, I would watch it each week.

He was also from Melmak.

Yep air date September 22, 1986 final episode March 24, 1990. Alf's name on his home planet of Melmac was Gordon Shumway....Lived with the Tanner family Willie Kate Lynn and Brian the nosy neighbors were Trevor Ochmonek and his wife Raquel Ochmonek. He played biscuit baseball also had one of the funniest laughs I ever heard. Watched that show from the start to the end loved it....If i remember it was on Monday nights on NBC.

Yes, I remember ALF. My older brother used to watch it and it always surprised me because he was such a smart, straight A kind of student guy, yet he loved this show! I've been buying him the seasons as they come out on DVD. It was a really cute show. Wish they'd bring it back!

LOVED that show!! My daughter was little when it was on, and one of the phrases she picked up from Alf was "Let's go check out the fridge!" - too funny! She had a big stuffed talking Alf that was one of her favorite toys, it was nearly as bifg as she was. Thanks for the smiles!

Yes!
What is the question?
I never watched even one show. Maybe I should have.
Was it good?

Why edit your question for me?
I was not rude! I was merely asking what the question was!

Then someone gives me a thumbs down. For what?
This forum has way too many mean, weak people who would never make a stand in the presence of their adversary.

"Hey Willie! Where's the cat?"

I sure do! In fact, it's the last time I watched TV regularly was when I watched Alf and Family Ties.
