I was just reading a very interesting book, where it was asked what we think would happen to the world if EVERY financial transaction was made public record......there would be no secrets....no greed....no corruption.....etc. Kinda scary in another sense though....reminds me of "Big Brother" watching you......

Still a fascinating thought. Sorry I didn't answer your question: the only other way I can think of would be a bartering system.

With today's value, you have to keep the Dollar($) as the only alternative currency available are stones and bits of wood and even they have more value LOL Lets just say that the US is getting it's just rewards for the past 50 years. Hurricanes, floods etc. for all the damage that they have done to the environment in every country around the world. The value of their currency is collapsing to pay back for all the hardship and suffering they have caused to the poorest of people. Maybe, Armaghedan is upon the US and that's why so many want to flee to safer countries.

Money is evil but it is what makes the world go around. Without money this world would be in chaos. We need money in order to live our life's. I know that there are bank robberies and such but that is just a small amount and they are usually caught anyway. There are also other ways people have greed, it is not just with money, it can be with land, food, the TV remote, and many more.

Money has been the single greatest organizational invention of the past five thousand years. The emergence of money as a preeminent social institution vividly illustrates the central role of organization in the process of social development.

As the flag identifies on country so does the money. It also identifies wealth. In the far past wealth was identified by the number of wifes a man had, by the amount of arable land, by the number of live stock. we have come a long way.

Today the stock market is falling through out the world. stocks was a option by the risk is to great.

Perhaps you are one of many people in the world who misquoted this principle: "LOVE of money is root of all evil". It's not money that makes trouble; it is LOVE of money. The problem lies in our mind; our belief system. I am not referring to a particular religion, but to our mindset.

Actually money helps us to do many things, but our GREED makes it looks like a monster.

It's like you said yourself, it's a system. People have been living with this system their entire lives. They wouldn't be able to understand anything else. It's kind of the same argument about gasoline.
