This has never been a dilemma for me. Not that I'm wealthy or anything... Cause I'm not. But putting money over people and feelings???? It's just not my thing!

Having someone to share my life with has always been of great importance and I would never sacrifice that for more money.

I know what skeptics may say...
Being a woman makes it so much easier! Why worry about it when you can find someone else to worry for you?? And you may be right....
In some of the cases!

Having someone to love and be loved, to share your life with, to share your troubles and your happiness... THAT is the most important thing in the world!

Quoting from Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory',
"There's plenty of money out there. They print more of it every day. But that ticket? There are only five of them in the world, and that's all there's ever going to be. Only a dummy would give this up for something as common as money. Are you a dummy?"

Well, LOVE is that GOLDEN TICKET!

Well i've come to the simple conclusion that money is only temporary. I will probably never have enough of it in my life, and bills will always be there. Money doesn't make me feel good, working towards something and getting it, really helps defines your character pretty well. As long as i'm financially secure enough to put money into my savings every month and pay all my bills on time and still have money left over to play with, then i'm good. But the love of a good woman is a better feeling than any i've ever experienced before. The way my girl makes me feel is almost undescribable. We started out as best friends and we are just like each other, and we just flow together. Almost as if it was always meant to be. So if you ask me to choose between being rich and lonely, or secure and in love, i gotta go with love.

Honestly speaking, it is never easy to live without money. Sorry if l choose money if lm wrong. But life proved many times that love is destructed by just suspicions, not by proofs. Based on experience l can say that love is not all roses but most of the time l always hit the thorns

I love what Amalie said and I agree with every word. I remember that
phrase in The Chocolate Factory. Love is better, money won't comfort
you when you are sad, keep you warm at night, cuddle you when you
are feeling down or just because. Love warms the heart and gives you
sense of well being. Love is the key to life without it, what is there?

♥ I've done both and frankly its much easier to live without money. Yes we need money to pay our bills, to eat, to keep a roof over our head and unfortunately love cant buy any of those things. Somehow when you have love it doesnt matter though. I'm living with my fiance, paying my necessities, and trying to save up [[but it doesnt always work that way]]. Love makes life worthwhile! :-)

Love, definitely. This is America you can't do anything without money, just ask a homeless person or someone who has lost their job. Many people live their whole lives without being in love (sad, but true). You can't live without food, water, shelter. All of which cost money.

Money, no doubt. I know some very very miserable rich people. We all need love and studies show that babies, who have no concept of money, thrive when showered with love and are in despair without it.

In the scenario you describe, people who have money without love are particularly vulnerable to snake oil salesmen who will pretend to love them, when really they are only after the money. Money without love is a dangerous set-up.

I could live with out money but not love . . because those that love you will help you when you're financially strapped but money doesn't give you that emotional life support that love does when you don't have love in your life . .
