Couldn't tell you what brand(s) he smokes in films-if they are even mentioned or identifiable by sight at all. I do recall some controversy over Larks being used in "Die Another Day", though.
However, the books have Bond smoke a Balkan / Turkish blend especially made for him by a company called Morlands. The cigarettes have three gold bands on the filter, signifying Bonds rank as a Naval commander. He's also been noted to smoke Chesterfields in the US and a brand called 'Royal Blend' in the Indies.

Yes! Bond is a smoker and he did not smoke cigars as already suggested. Bond always smoked cigarettes, mainly in bed with a woman LOL If I recall correctly, the cigarettes he smokes are untipped, Players Navy Cut.
