Hi, i'm 15 years old, and i know i might be a little young, but i have been masterbating since i was like 12, and i didn't even realize what i was doing than, lol. But know it has become more frequent, and i feel so guilty afterwords. I'm a virgin, so this feels amazing, i love the feeling. So is it natural to feel guilty or is it completly wrong to be doing it?

Hello darlin. I thought I was the only one who ever did this. I started when I was like 12 too and I also didn't know what I was doing...I just knew it felt good. No, you are not wrong for this and you shouldn't feel guilty because of it. The only problem that has occurred for me since I have been doing this since I was 12 is that, with sex, I have to have direct contact on my all the time to be able to have an orgasm. Intercourse does nothing for me. It feels great, yes, but it doesn't get me off (which SUCKS!!).

You'll be just fine....just don't rush to have sex, wait like I did. :-)

OK I speak from experience I started doing this too at a youngish age like 14 and I didn't know what I was doing. When I was like 15 I was doing it every night and I used to feel so guilty wondering if my parents knew and what if they find out. I think its normal to feel guilty about it because when you are a still a 'kid' and you are touching yourself sexually you feel as though it is wrong and you shouldnt be doing it. Honestly though I have a daughter now (she is only 1) and if by some chance I found out she was doing it eventually I will just remember back to my teen years and realise it must be embarassing for her and I wont look at her as doing anything wrong. Im sure your parents are the same : )

Doctors and other health professionals say that masturbation is completely normal. They see it as a way of learning about your body and you shouldn't feel ashamed or guilty about doing it. I, myself, have been masturbating about 2 or 3 times a week for about 20 years.

I, too, am still a virgin and masturbation is the only sexual outlet I have ever had.

That being said, many religious people say that it is a sin to masturbate. I don't agree with this at all. I feel that God has given people the gift of sexuality. If someone doesn't have a sexual partner, or is young, as you are, then masturbation is an outlet for sexual exploration or sexual release.

It's completely normal.
The stigma that it's wrong is where the guilty feelings are coming from.
Most woman that I know do it. All men do it.
To be completely honest, I don't think that I could trust someone that didn't. It's a very natural thing to do and since it harms no one, go for it.

that would depend on who you ask.

Me, I have been doing it since I was like four or five. how was I supposed to know what it was at that age.

If a young innocent child can discover it, how the heck can it be as evil as they try to make out.

Masturbation is infact the healthiest way of discovering what pleasures you. this will help later on when you are with a partner.

many people do feel guilty, only because religions teach that it is a sin. Like I say, in my expereince, I cant buy into that belief. What you choose to believe is up to you.

Bottom line, we are born sexual being through a sexual act and it is part of us. How we experience that part of our lives, full of guilt or feeling confident, will much depend on the influences around us when we are growing up and what we choose to believe as Adults.

I wish you well on your journey of discovery.

First of all it is masturbation and not masterbation.
Second it is normal for people of your age to indulge and become addicted to it.
Thirdly it is normal to feel guilty.
Fourthly do not get caught while doing it.
Fifthly do not use any liquid which can cause damage to ur little brother like detergents, certain oils, toothpaste, shampoo etc. and do not try experimenting with other stuff like trying to insert ur little brother in some hollow pipe or bottle etc. I know some friends who used to do that but luckily they were able to avoid injury.

M/b is a substitute for intercourse to certain extent.. Those who do not get a chance for real intercourse either men or women they tend to masterbate. When sexual feeling aroused (by seeing some pronography or something like that - even see big boobs or sexy women) the alternate way is to masterbate. I find nothing wrong, please go ahead, but too much of anything is bad.

No it is not wrong...especially if you look at it this way: Theres no one taking advantage of you...you wont get pregnant...you wont get an std and you wont get your feelings hurt...self love is the best love....until you are ready to add another person to the equation...Dont feel guilty about it...theres nothing to feel guilty about---its your body--Have fun!!!

It's totally natural. But I understand why you would feel guilty or ashamed.

Sometimes, I feel guilty too.
