Basically, as you know Bush vowed last week to help rebuild the bridge in Minnesota as he was getting his photo op at the disaster site.
Yesterday, when asked about a proposed bill to help with much needed bridge repair throughout the USA, Bush seemed not all concerned about the safety of americans about the clearly problematic infrastructure, and said he would veto the bill for repairs that would be funded by raising the gasoline tax. He said something to the extent that congress needs to prioritize what they want to spend money on, and that if they want to fix bridges, they need to figure out what else they want to stop spending money on. He acted like if the bridges never got repaired, it would not matter at all to him. So much for the concern he showed last week at his photo op.
I honnestly believe that Bush has no conscience, and cares very little about actual human life.
