When you type in a user name and password and save the user name, they are saved. However when these user names are not correct they are there. Not a big deal, just annoying. is thee anyway to clear certain user name / password combos with clearing the correct ones?

Using WIndows XP.

As far as I'm aware of you can't choose which passwords for IE to clear, if you use firefox there is an option to clear certain ones

Click Tools > Internet Options
Click the Content tab
Click the AutoComplete button
Uncheck Usernames and passwords on forms and Prompt me to save passwords if they are checked
Click the Clear Passwords button
Click OK to confirm

You must have administrative privileges to do this:

Start Menu > Control Panel > System

Click on the Advanced tab, then on User Profiles and Settings.

Then under User Profiles, select the profile you want removed and click on Delete.

Done

Never had that particul problem, but when you type in the first letter or two a box will appear just below with anything starting with those letters. If this happens just hilite them and click on the DELETE button...Hope this helps.
