I have a phobia of chip pan fryers. I saw a film when I was little that a guy broke into a resturaunt and and pushed the cooks hand into a chip pan fryer and held it there. I now have a phobia about them after seeing what it looked like after. Bleurgh! What's your phobia?

Okay, you wanna hear a weird one?
I have a phobia of shrivelled balloons. When the balloons have just been blown up, they're fine, but when they start to shrivel and shrink THEY FREAK ME OUT! I think it's cos my mum used to chase me with them. Now whenever there's a balloon in the house, it has to be popped the same day. I'm 25 and I still make my dad pop the balloons before they shrivel. How weird is that?
By the way, the foil helium balloons are fine, I like them. It's only the rubber ones!

You obviously don't have a 'phobia' of chip pan fryers, you just don't like them. omfg I can't believe I'm talking about being scared of chip pan fryers!!! lol :) well im bad with small spaces, chlosterphobia has to be mine. No lie, I feel sick just thinking about it.

I wouldn't be surprised you have a phobia at least you have a decent reason for having one.
Mine would be escalators - i got right near the top and my trainer lace got stuck, lucky enough they had come undone and I pulled my foot out. Mind you if they'd been done up and i had not been jumping around thinking i was clever it wouldn't of happened (it was 30 years ago) i do still jump around thinking im clever tho & still have accidents. I got a phobia of balloons too but we wont mention that

Facial Hair Aaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! it scares the Sh!t outta me, i really hate beards on a guy, stubble is ok as long as its soft but ive had This phobia since really young and no ones ever been able to figue out why. If i kissed santa as a kid i would throw up on him, lol poor santa .

I used to have a really bad phobia of dogs when I was younger, I don't think I have a phobia of anything now. I'm scared of allsorts of things yeah, but nothing to the extent of saying I have a phobia of them.

I have a fear of crawl spaces, like under a deck or in the basement or attic. I am not claustrophobic, I just have a feeling that creatures I would rather not be in contact with live in those places.

I'm afraid of snakes. I just had a dream last night that a huge snake was in the bed, it was only my dog. But I still woke up and freaked out thinking it was a snake.
