Has anyone else noticed that the world has gone sex mad??!!

When it comes to selling products it’s always related to sex.
Like sex is the only thing to make us humans listen!

I've noticed that there are more and more adverts on the TV that draw our/viewers attention by sex. For example the new comfort advert, herbal essences averts, deodorant adverts, magnum ice-cream adverts, even battery adverts...the list can go one...

what do u think? is sex a powerful subject?
would u have read this question if i hadn't used the word SEX?

(by the way i'm not compaining, im just interested in what people think)

I agree with you all the way. When I was growing up, you didn't see sex related advertising. Sex is used to get ones attention to sell so many things. It's sad that's what it's come down to. Sex is not a dirty word but it seems to me there are other ways to sell the products. I wonder why it's necessary to advertise women's feminine products on tv. Women know where to buy the products, no need to advertise. It's the same way with "Happy Bob" & the male enhancement pills. Just my opinion.

I've never had sex...It seems like a real nice thing to have with the person you love...I guess that it sells. I don't mind hahaha. Yea, I think it's a powerful subject...Once you've had sex, you tend to want more. And if you've never had it, you want it. That's why the ads use sex to sell their products. People want to be sexy. If a product helps one "get" sex...then one will want to (usually) buy it.
Sorry if my answer is incoherent. My mom's yelling at my bro in the background.

How do you think we all got here since Adam and Eve... if it isn't?

The advertisers already know that all kids think they invented sex from every generation... and because they're so new at it... they need to talk about it all the time... they're only selling products and want your money... they couldn't give a cuss about your body... and half of them might well be impotent anyway.

Oldies like me don't need to talk about it... we'd only be here until the day we pop our clogs... if we recounted all we know about it:-)

You'll get there one day and like the rest of us... smile knowingly outside the playground gates too!

It is to a degree. I think advertising and the media on TV are taking bolder steps to see what they can get away with the F.C.C. Particularly with what you said with those body spray deodorant commercials. Unrealistic, yes but it sells. Hell, I don't believe in those commercials, but when I see their products in the stores I have a strong impulse to buy it to see if it has any effect on any women who smell or notice it on me, Mind control from the media....It has a strong effect on us all. Stay aware to protect yourself.

Sex sells. We've become so immune to provocative images that the advertising regulators no longer take any notice. The main problem is going to be that it will become so commonplace that there will be no more novelty, and we'll go off the whole idea.

The world has always been sex mad. If it weren't, the species would never have propagated. Humans have always had sex all over their minds; it's just publicised, now.

When there is chaos all around, then SEX is the one thing that grabs our attention, and bring us all together (not in a mass orgy or anything) just together in thinking and peaceful unity, as intimacy is a part of what makes us human!

Don´t be rediculous, we all have much better things to do than think of sex all the time. Now stop worrying and get your **** out.
