it has been unbelievably hot outside and its still dark out in the morning and 88 degrees, do you think its a good idea to mow my grass in my yard around 2 am , so its coller outside if i carry a spotlight?
will my neighbors get mad?
what excuse could i give them?

Tell them you've got OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) which makes you do things that seem irrational to normal people,
Then get angry and tell them wot insensitve pricks they are for getting mad... shout a few obscenities (which you can later explain as Tourettes Syndrome if you have to...)
And as the final piece de resistance... wail uncontrollably and run back inside the house, heck! forget complaining, your neighbours wont even approach you anymore... (insert evil laughter)

haha i would be screaming out my window if i was your neighbor... but I understand what you mean, if you wait til 7 or 8 am, it'll probably be 10-15 degrees hotter!! I'm lucky here because by 8 pm our temp drops by ten degrees so that's when I mow, but I imagine if it is already 88 and 2 am where you are, WOW!! ok if i were you I'd wait til 5 or 6 am then, maybe people will already be waking up for work and if the sun hasn't come out yet, it shouldn't be too much hotter!! i hope you have a cooler day soon!! if i lived there, i'd prob just never mow!! haha

NO! Don't mow your lawn at 2AM. There is a good chance your neighbors will call the police for disturbing the peace. If I were your neighbor, I'd rather you mow the lawn at 8 - 8:30 PM.

Not a good idea to mow grass at night. Hire someone to cut it for you. Take care of your health.

They may get mad, but tell them that it's the only time that is convenient for you. On less they would like to mow it for you in their free time. It may not be a nice thing to do though.

2am?unless it is a push-mower, I think they would be upset.
If time is an issue, get a highskool kid to do it during the day.They work cheep. but it's not a good idea to mow when the sun is out, this will burn the grass.wait until the sun goes down, or before it comes up. ( : } )

Hire the kid down the street to do it during the day like everyone else. Stay inside with a cool drink and pay the kid $5 and everyone wins!

Thats a bad idea. You will wake up your neighboors. You can do it in the morning, but not that early. Just put of with the heat for the sake of a little sleep.

honest my neighbor did this the other day at midnight.
outside with a flash light cutting his grass.
a few people told to him stop.
most of us was like "yeah i feel ya mostlly cause i feel the 105 in the day"
