He tried to and did make a difference as a policeman.
He never said he was perfect, but he did the job and tried and it shows in the results he left behind.
The thing he wanted to be remembered for when he died was "he was a good cop and cared."

If my town were to put up a Plaque in my honor, I would think it would say something about my Dedicated service to thw Town as well as ALL Veterans from the town.
I was at one time the Veterans Service Officer for the town I live in. BUT I gave this position up as I was getting paid $5800.00 for the entire year. While the job was suppose to be only four hours per week, I found myself working up to 20 - 25 hours per week. With all the hours and the low pay I had to leave the job. BUT there were no hard feelings and The Town was happy with my services.
