I have two molllies. One has started acting really strange. Occasionally it starts violently twisting and jerking for about 5 or 6 seconds and then stops and goes back to just cruising around the tank. The other one is fine. Anyone seen this happen before?

When I read your question I immediately thought..Uh oh! Parasites! You either have a nasty parasite or velvet (which actually is a parasite, I guess). Shine a flash light down on the fish. Do you see gold speckles? That's velvet. Go to Walmart or your local pet store and pick up a parasite treatment.

Sounds like something's irritating him. First thing you should do is check your water quality-ammonia and nitrites should be 0 ppm, and nitrates under 20 ppm. Also try doing a water change anyway, won't hurt.

If that checks out ok, I would look for other signs of a parasite infection, like scratching or rubbing on objects in the tank, breathing heavy, gasping at the surface, laying on the bottom.

As I have seen your other question, it might be that she's pregnant and short before giving birth
That's what mine always did

Hope that helps
good luck

Sounds like a nervous disorder to me, but magicman might know, he's the best, try asking him.

my first thought is to check the ammonia level in the water, but, maybe it is having some weird seizure....

I think it is perfectly fine.
