Doesn't seem to matter who the governor is. Bernie and Phyl have their stupid TV ad in which one of their kids says, "Thanks, Dad!" for the tax-free weekend, and Phyl says, "Don't thank him - thank the Governor!" As if Duval Patrick or Mitt Romney ever had anything to do with it.

WTF? Is it Bernie & Phyl who are that stupid, or is it consumers watching the ad who are that stupid?

I LUV... No, they're NOT paid to say that - it's their own store.

The Governor has to approve this tax-free weekend every year and also pick when it will be.

Bernie & Phyl! Are they from Sesame Street? Oh no, that's Bert & Ernie....lol
They might as well be, huh?

Seriously, it is tragic, but too many consumers are taken in by this stuff.

I thought final approval was up to the Govenor to decide when the Tax Free weekend is. . . .

Unfortunately, sadly, tragically, YES. The consumers are, indeed, "that stupid."

Makes ya cringe, don't it?
