After trying to conceive for 2 and a half yrs my friend finally conceived...?

but when she hah her first scan they found a small cyst could this be why it took so long to conceive? also i have been trying to conceive for nearly a year and now i wonder if too could have a cyst? is it common?

Could be any reason why you haven't conceived. See a doctor for a referal to specialist if no baby after 9-12mts of trying. It could be as simple as hormone inbalance and using a fertility treatment like clomid to get things moving.

there can be nothing wrong with you and it still might take a while before you finally conceive!! It's up to the nature when it's meant to be!!
