To be honest I've disliked them from the start. I know they loved their little girl, and if I had a child and he/she were taken from me i'd never give up until there was solid undenyable proof to the contrary.

But what I hate, HATE, about this more than anything is... Why the heck did the media get so involved in this? Little girls so missing all the time, especially in third world countries where they tend to get sold as a slaves. What makes their little girl so special? Because she's british?

I know they don't want to give up, but they need to look at the facts. Statistically speaking, how many kidnapped little girls would still be alive by this point? ESPECIALLY as they went straight to the press! The fact they did all these campains probably made a kidnapper more likely to panic and despose of her :(

I dont think they should be planning so many campains. Its just plan weird.

And why OH WHY did they leave her alone? At night, in a foreign country.

I have very mixed views i do believe there is something underhand going on with the family in question. Call it instinct, the whole country feel it too and this is why theres so much haetful reactions from the public, with the disbelief that the Mcanns are guilty of something more than just leaving the children ..

I think that once Madeleine was missing, they realised their careers in the medical profession were on the line - and immediately looked for new positions where they could make as much (or more) money in a more "glamorous" profession - International Experts on Missing Children.

If they knew something it would be within one day at the most not 49!!!

It could just be some church gathering etc.

This has been the case from the start of the whole thing - to many plans made to far ahead.

"GENEROUS PEOPLE, DON'T FORGET MY STARS"

That sums it up this is just a point scoring exercise for the anti-McCanns

Edit - no it isn't, but what is the point of debating issues if anyone who makes a comment, however intelligently put, is given a massive thumbs down if it is pro-McCann, and conversely everyone who makes an anti-McCann statement regardless of its content is given a big thumbs up. You are not showing yourselves to be interested in debate and my point is valid. Show me a thread where I'm wrong, that any of your tribe have started!

I think there is more to all this then meets the eye and the McCanns know something but are not letting on.
