what good is WI-FI or Bluetooth if you cannot establish a connection?

I would like to use a bar code scanner to scout for books, But what good is WI-FI or Bluetooth if you cannot establish a connection. I don't understand

True..... have probs connecting to wi-fi hotspots, they seem to spend more time down then up

Perhaps the problem is that there is a nut loose between the keyboard and the seat.

try scanning the barcode into my documents then search that way
