From the National Grid. It used to generate its own electricity from a power station in Lots Road, Battersea, but this closed down a few years ago; 2002, I believe. The Underground uses about 4-5% of all London's electricity.

It used to get its power from the Lots Road Power Station in Chelsea [ref 1]. Since 1998, it has been getting it from the National Grid [ref 2].

The London Underground uses the electricity off mains power, but use to be powered by small power stations.
Eg.
The reason the Victoria line is where it is, was that it runs very close to Battersea Powerstation. When the power station was used, electricity would be sent down into the ground to hook up with the Underground line.

The National Grid like everyone else. Although I would expect them to have some emergency backup power generators to at least keep the stations going for a while during a power failure.

and the tube stations uses solar power hence the reason they close at around 1am and open up again at 5am.
