The only times I can think of in which an advertisment has swayed me was when I was 420 and REALLY into the idea of dairy queen or a pizza or something.

They affect me but not directly. I have a 2 year old and the advertisers are trying to sway him to eat loads of junk food. Notice that they're aren't cool and colorful adds with Spongebob promoting broccoli? :-)

Yeah, every time I see an ad for hot babes in my area I can't help but call. The advertising is so well thought out and obviously high budget that I just get hypnotized.
The rest of the time I just end up talking back to the TV.

the best is not always the prettiest or the well advertised.people should be aware of this fact.
