we cannot afford for them to fire him. this company has been in trobule before for shady bussiness. And the name is a well known food bussiness across the united states. im so upset right now. the gate to the plant is guarded otherwise i would go with him to speak to someone over his bosses head. my husband does a good job speaking up he has explained to the man look i want my money but the man walks away. he has given his boss a copy two times of the pay stub.

CALL THE LABOR BOARD.. THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT

Has the boss some kind of explanation? If not and he isn't doing anything to correct the situation and the checks are legitimately shorted then you should go to the fair labor board and complain to them, show them the check you have or the check stubs with deductions shown so they can determine the ligitimacy of the claim and they will correct the problem. I would tell the boss frist that you intend to do that because he may correct it without you having to go through it and it would be better if he did it. If he is forced by government to do it he may then find a way to get rid of or punish your husband for reporting him. Nontheless you have to stand your ground and collect what is owed you.

Yes, go to the media. If he is doing it to one person, he's probably doing it to more than one. Another option is to bring in a union organizer. Chances are, if this is happening, there is no union. If there is a union, the union steward should file a grievance. There are laws against this, assuming this is in the United States. Cash the check making sure that you inform the boss that cashing it doesn't constitute agreement with the amount paid. And put that in writing.

Tell them to fix it or you are going to the labor board...Whats the point of working if you aren't going to get paid for it?
