Well.......
There's a guy I like, and we IM a lot.
But my friend, like my BEST friend wanted his e-mail.
I didn't give it to her because she can make ANY guy fall for her, I do not want that to happen.
So instead I said I forgot it and I gave her my sister's e-mail (because my sister knows it).
My best friend will ask for the e-mail AND she'll become great friends with my sister........They have a lot of things in common.

I couldn't have that happen.........Sooo.....

I told my sister not to talk to her, because she was a "hacker" (she's not)

Am I being mean??
I must be a terrible friend!!

if she knows you like him, you're not the one who's being a terrible friend. no one likes to get stabbed in the back by a close friend, and, if she really is your "best friend" then she wouldn't betray HER best friend (a.k.a. you) to get her guy. if it's some type of joke, that's a different story...but you need to ask her to explain what she is doing and why she is doing it. and when (or if) you do get the chance to talk to her, don't sound all mean and snobby but use a firm tone and be - not act - serious, so that she doesn't fall asleep during the conversation. (not that she would, in real life, just a figure of speech)

if she doesn't know that you like him, tell her. she's your best friend and you don't want her to feel guilty because of something you never even mentioned to her before. sooooo...tell her something like this, "i'm sorry, but i really like [name of guy], and i really want to make you happy, but seeing [name of guy] go out with someone else breaks my heart, even though we aren't currently BF-GF." so as not to scare your best friend. we wouldn't want that to happen.

Well, that was definitely not the sort of stuff I would expect from my best friend!! If she was actually your best friend you would first talk out your feelings with her rather than going around doing the things u did!!

Anyway hope all turns out just ok!!

You should have just told her that you wanted to get to know him first, without all of your friends getting involved.

you are not really her friend if you are sooo afraid of her. and you're selfish to you don't even want her to be friends with your sister. you are being mean.

if you like that guy that much, then tell him how you feel. and dont tell your friend anything about him. you can have friends without her knowing.
