When you guys purchase a nice DVD (such as a two-disc collectors edition; i.e. Pirates of the Caribbean, 300, Finding Nemo, etc) and it comes with that fancy cardboard slipcover on it, do you keep it or throw it away? For me personally, I toss em because it just makes accessing the movie more of a pain, even though they do look cool...Opinions?

...if the slipcover shows different, interesting or more creative artwork, than the DVD cover itself, I'll usually keep it. Sometimes, the artwork on the slipcover is the same as that on the DVD cover, except that the slipcover might have a shiny, mirror-like finish; this is kinda cool and all, but not enough to keep the slipcover, so in this case, I'll usually toss it...

...overall, I could probably do without these slipcovers; most of the time, they're pretty cool, but in the end, they only serve to bump up the price of the DVD, by supposedly making them more 'collectable'...

I personally keep them. They don't really do anything I guess, but I can tell when someone has been in the movies as I'll find them laying about. Helps me find what might be out and about in the house somewhere. :)
