If these organisations disposed all of what they get as aid to the victims, there whould have been no pain, illness, lack of water, medicines, and essential food.
On the other hand we see that "ambassadors of good will" become persons which, instead of being intervewed every now and then, favouring their bublic profile, they could easily dispose part of their colossal fortunes to releave pain.

Those organizations started with good intentions but turned into big money making companies. As you would know, in companies people who work for them gets a share- completely the opposite of the logic of a aid organization.
Also it is a known fact that some of this organizations especially UN has acted falsely during the inner war of Former Yugoslavia and kept sides which caused more chaos since they preferred to look the other side during mass murders of Muslim population and even their names got involved in rape cases.
In my opinion, those organizations has be go under a major inspection by an international committee, eliminated from the people who make money from it, maybe terminated -structure-wise- and re-structured because I believe that they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing but getting individuals richer everyday.
I also have the personal curiosity that how can a human being sleep well at night knowing that the food he had for dinner is destined to feed the poor but ended on his table illegally or in-rightfully..

Dimitri,
By definition, organizations whether starting with a U or any other letter are there to organize people around their common interests. And their interests are never those of the others but those of their own. To my humble opinion, this is a very healthy and truly biological behavior that is also quite abundant in nature. It applies to religions (for your own sake), nations (for your own safety) and all sorts of bodies (for your own interest) that exist and you are aware of.
Lies too.
Which is fine for as long as it is made clear to each and everyone out there early on in their lives!

as a comment on such gobal organizations who r indicative by name as united to help in all places on this globe, they participate on a level of complexity sometimes,,they aint politically subsided ,,and of course r controlled by the big guys (u know whom)they support ,,speak ,,and provide aid,,but not decisive on solutions ,,more of a breeze sometimes or a word of comfort in mentioning suffering or giving out aid as drops when a rain flood is needed ,,,but do we have alternatives ???its the new world system ,,be with it or stand against it and face the consequences,,,public awareness must be elevated and more towards a more protesting activities in order to let who r in control WE AINT NAIVE

I once saw these 'U' people in Nicaragua in a remote village in the mountains teaching people the benefits of cooking on gas instead of fire! After they left, people were asking me how they should pay for the gas....and they were right! How ridiculous! A bit later, a bit by coincidence, I met these 'U' people again in another town and they invited me for dinner! I just was so shocked to see what kind of luxurious villa they were living in, having servants doing everything for them! I never ever will give one penny to these organizations again!

Well said Dellarovere. Those people get huge amounts of salaries and 'expenses' out of our donations. We need organizations that are simple in structure and more effective. Not with hundreds of employees sitting in airconditioned offices and or giving statements to the press while the victims keep on suffering.
