Redwood trees are so amazing! Once you're walk down at nowhere in the redwood forest... You would be feeling like you're being dwarf who's lost in the forest. Anyway, Redwood and Bonasi trees are my personal favorites.

Silver birch is such a delicate tree and is beautiful all year round, so I go with you on that, but I also love the Rowan (Mountain Ash) - white bunches of flowers in the Spring and brilliant orange/red berries in the summer which are a constant attraction to the birds.

I agree, silver birch. I like weeping willow trees best, though. I don't believe in God, but there are some good gardeners about round here

A Cedar of Lebanon does it for me. So do some of the conifers with silvery-grey needles.
And I'm fond of the two 70' weeping ash trees in my garden, even though ash trees shed a lot of dead twigs and small branches, so I don't loiter beneath them when it's windy.

The oak tree, it always makes me thing of magic and youth. I don't know why. Maybe I just read too many books as a child.

Coatal Redwoods. Best trees I've ever met. Nothing else even compares.
But I do like them all. (well, most trees...)

A pink dogwood, or a mimosa tree. I lovely the smell, and the pink feathery blooms.
