l have just made that very same point in answering another question. It hasn't been in any of their manifesto's, even by implication. They are determined to push us into a Federal Europe, and that is something else that they don't have our authority to do. One consequence of this, is that we lose our borders, and in flow the migrants as part of the deal.
This is overt, left wing inspired, Totalitarianism. There is no other way to describe it. New Labour and the EU have simply been running ahead on this one, presuming that they could always subvert us into acceptance when the time came.
The only answer that I can give you is that it is part of a bigger game, which is, open up the borders, destroy Britain, and then push it into the EU. 'fait accompli'.

The British people were consulted, They voted them in!! let's not be naive, the question is how do we close the door? if there are no limits set then to change the goal post's would be unfair to those wishing to enter....people must not rush into things without serious thought....remember the next time you vote, ask what your voting for...

The British people have a chance to change that every election...
They could vote in either the UKIP, or BNP then there would be no more immigration as well as no more freedom, no more budget flights, no more cheap imported food and electronics, car prices would go back up because it was trhe EU that forced them down...

When have they ever consulted us on anything? They took us to war in Iraq against our will and wasted money that could have been spent on housing.
Its the same with the EU and the resultant mass immigration. They don't ask us how it affects us. They don't care.

You do get consulted. You get a choice when it comes to elections.
If you want more input into the actions of a party, you also have the choice to join a political party, where your views can be heard, especially when it comes to electing leaders of a party.
Examples of countries where the population have no say include North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Like your new Prime Minister wanting 5 Gitmo prisoners to come to the UK although the are not even British citizens, demanding their release.
Oh, and they have applied for British citizenship, and 7 of the previous prisoners released from Gitmo have gone on to commit further terrorists acts.

Thats a very good question tommy, and I wish I knew the answer. Mybe we need to write to the prime minister and some m.p's. Here is my offer of what I am going to send to them:
In Britain we have a whole set of rules and customs about different parts of our lives. Due to the socially constructed Political Correctness, we attempt not to say or do anything that will cause offence in order to try and be a tolerant and accepting nation.
When we are abroad we try to have some respect for other people’s customs. So we expect those who come here as visitors or residents equally to respect our traditions and way of life. However, the majority of them do not. They flaunt, preach and force their belief systems and traditions whilst continuing to speak in their native language without making any attempts to learn ours. It is not expected that they abandon their customs etc, but it is with respect that we would want them to make an effort to honour our homeland by making an effort to integrate with us. Everyone but the British is ‘protected’ under a mask of Political Correctness. British people are insulted without consequence, and are restricted from practising their religion. Yet we are drowned in a diversity of cultures, religions and beliefs, and some can seem to be offensive and alien to us. British people’s experience of these in their own communities leads them to be suspicious of the un-known, antagonistic; and a few to be racist. Diversity does not work under these conditions. This is why I agreed with a High Court ruling to say no to a young woman’s demands to flout her school’s rules by insisting on wearing a hijab. We need a set of rules to be put into place that will enable Britain to hold on to its identity and traditions. ‘It is the acceptance of the rules that makes any society function. It holds people together and provides the glue for social cohesion. Anything goes leads to everything going. And what will go is our sense of belonging, our identity and our willingness to whole-heartedly welcome difference and diversity.’
Have a good day! :o)
