I know this is not an easy question, but please try to give your overall, general feeling about Hollywood - are they helping to improve our society or are they hindering our advancement in some subtle, sinister way?

I think Hollywood has adversely affected our culture because all of the materialism displayed 24/7. Hollywood does not give a true picture of reality thusly warping the minds of those who cannot tell the difference. So basically a BAD influence.

I would say overall it's a negative influence. Not in a moral way but in that it sets expectations too high. People tend to think they they must model their lives after things they see and that is not a positive thing. Look at the people who are in hwood...they aren't generally happy people...

I think that it's bad, but I don't think it's as bad as people try to make it seem, for one thing, I often wonder why the Hell we're looking to Hollywood for influence in the first place.

Contrary to popular belief, Hollywood's influence is minimal at best. Movie studios don't release films if they don't think people will watch them. We influence them a lot more than they influence us.

I don't see too many good influences Hollywood has on our culture: immodesty, "alternate lifestyles," foul language, sex at every turn, greed, might makes right, making the villain into the hero, relativism & every other ism you can think of, ..... & yes, Hollywood contiously molds our culture. Look at Disney Company's homosexual agenda. They PUSH for perversions to be accepted as "normal."

I think is 50% good and 50% bad. Some great aspects and some bad ones.

Good. I look up to alot of young starlets. Im on cocane have 3 dui's. I also frequently show strangers my vaginea.

its a bad influence, you cant really have anyone be ur role model and it looks like rich and greedy is ok
