Were you just one of the gang, the pack leader, prefer to do your own thing or a bit of a rebel?

Did you change as you got older?

AND are you a 'born again teenager' now you're a senior?

Perhaps I should add born again in attitude if not ability! ha ha

Probably a bit of all the last 3. I think I had a reasonable sense of humour - didn't "grow up" very quickly. Loved trying new things.
I think I'm still pretty much the same although I amaze myself sometimes when I realise all the knowledge I have gained over 70 years. What I shame we can't pass it all on with inherited genes.
Met a friend I hadn't seen for around 50+ plus years , a few weeks ago, quote: "You still have a great sense of fun and a twinkle in your eye!" I love that guy!!
Yep! I would say I'm a born again teenager - love calling my doctor and policemen "young man" and getting the Income tax people in a tiz over the phone with my little old lady voice
as I demand to pay the 39pence ,they say I owe (by postal order)!!!

This is a great question. As a teenager I was neither a rebel or part of a crowd. I would say I was some place in between. Gee, a lot like today.
My morals have re finned as I have gotten older but mostly I am the same as I was when I was 16.
The body has aged and the mind has matured, but I am still the eternal teenager just without the mood swings and lack of confidence.

That was back in the 60s for me, I had waist long dark hair and I wore a lot of the Hippy clothes on weekends, at work I had to wear a skirt and blouse, so fashion wise I was between 2 worlds. I was part of a group of like minded girls music and social wise, I was a quiet sort of a teenager and went along with the group, but we weren't rebels and kept away from trouble. These days I still have long hair but not so dark, and I still wear some of my old hippy tops sometimes. Musically I have gone Country as I love Linedancing, but on the whole I've not changed all that much. Now I'm on my own except for 3 walloping great Old English Sheepdogs who take up most of my time, and all my friends are either Doggie People or Linedancers, most are both.

I think the phrase you are looking for is re-cycled teenager, which I am. I was typical of my generation living in San Diego. We lived on a cliff by the ocean and my brother and I would go down a winding dirt path to the water in the cove and swim , play with the creatures in the tide pools, and explore the beach and caves. I did not appreciate school only wanted to get it over with so about once a week I would get within a block or two of the school and do an about face and head downtown or to Belmont park on the beach and just hang out. Never really did anything I could not tell about in church just skipped school.

I have changed to some degree as I have aged and gotten smarter (hopefully). I have a closer relationship with God and realize that I do not have to be the sharpest tool in the shed that He is. Because of my children I am more loving and forgiving. I am independent because of my husbands belief in my abilities, which empowered me to achieve positions of importance in my career. I am more humble because God has put me in my place more than once.

Tall and skinny. Liked the boy next door. He liked the girl next door not me. I walked a lot. Rode a bike. Had a group I hung with. There were six of us. We also had our own school friends. The leader. Not a rebel. The cop on the beat called us loquacious brats. Smoked at age 12. Don't remember how we got the cigarettes. Parents didn't seem to know. I went to church all my life and was saved but now I am challenged with doubts.

Well...Where should I start...I was a little devil but not many people knew it.
I grew up in Jamaica and I was a proper tom boy. I did everything better than the boys and they always wanted me on their side when we played Cricket or baseball.
I would beat them at marbles and usually went home with every marble they possessed.
There wasn't a tree that I couldn't climb or a fence that I couldn't get through or over. Trees laden with ripe fruits were a magnet for me and it didn't matter who they belonged to.

Most days I wouldn't get home from school until late (I would always be late getting to school too) and would have to sneak in without my mother seeing me because my clothes would be ripped from getting caught up in barb wire fences.

Creatures were not safe in my yard either. I delighted in chopping off the tails of lizards just to watch the tail still wriggling after the lizard had gone. Not a caterpillar or a bee or a butterfly could pause for a minute If I was near. I would torment dogs and was bitten once by three dogs at the same time. I was tormenting two dogs who were stuck together and the three who were across the road jumped their fence and laid into me.
There was also a huge turkey who lived in our yard who got so fed up with me that eventually I couldn't come out of the house without making sure that he was no where to be seen.
If he did see me, I had to run for my life. Hahaha!
Oh memories....

It's all very tame compared to teenagers with guns these days.

I was an even straighter arrow than I am now. I wrote the kids who took drugs 2 page letters about why they should stop; I wouldn't go to parties with drugs or alcohol. I stayed a virgin, never even took a drag of a cigarette, did my homework, took extra classes and graduated a year early, then went right to cosmetology school. I did as I was told.

Now, I'm learning to loosen up -I sometimes surprise myself. I still don't do drugs or drink (because I think anything with alcohol tastes terrible) and work on improving my character, and improving my art. Oh, yeah, I never swore in high school, but now I say "Oh pooh! D***it!" if I drop food on the floor that I really wanted to eat.

Wasn't too bad as a lad ..Had quite a lot of girl friends .. Definitely change as got older,, had responsibilities with a family and at work . Have been retired a few years now , unfortunately my wife passed away so I am on my own... Since having this computer though I am rejuvenated.. I chat and flirt with lots of ladies... Just like being a teenager again.. I say life begins again at 70.

I was a skinhead girl!!

I wore Doc Martin boots and Ben Sherman shirts with red braces and splashed Brut all over!!

I was in love with David Essex and swore never to marry unless it was to him! I did - and it wasn't to David!

I listened to Status Quo and danced around my handbag at the local disco in the village hall.

I had to back home by 10pm - 10.30pm at the weekends.

And the first time a boy (Kevin) kissed me and put his tongue in my mouth I burst out crying and phoned my Mum to come and pick me up! AND I WAS 15!

And today I am 50 and all that seems like a lifetime ago but it still makes me smile because I had such a good time and teenage trauma and depression hadn't yet been invented.

We did't know it was compulsary to rebel against your parents or disrespect them - we just loved them and obeyed them. And still do.
I didn't need to experiment with drugs or sex and I still had a great time.
We didn't stay in bed watching godawful TV programmes all day because it was expected that we worked from the day we left school.
And if you were to get your name in the Sunday Papers it was the end of the world - not the beginning of a career in adult entertainment!

Hope that paints some sort of picture!
