My husband gets jealous even if I walk out of the office building chatting to a male colleague. He starts with all these weird questions. On the other hand, he has been emailing his ex (who is also married by the way) and calls her by her nickname. Yet when asked, he says it's nothing! I don't have an issue with him talking to her. But the double standards don't make sense. What's going on?

He's just being a man.
So, make sure you tell him what you think of it and don't stop chatting to people because he's being jealous and over possessive!
He just has to deal with it or live by his own standards!!

I truely think that when a spouse acts this jealous, it's because they are being shady- he is doing something he knows he shouldn't be doing and he's afraid that you will do the same thing. My sister cheated on her husband, and he doesn't know about it. He wanted to play co-ed softball and she becam unglued, and that's because she knows what she has done and she is afraid he'll do the same thing to her.

Guys think they rule over the gals and they have the say so and this is something installed in them from way back when. They struggle to change this concept but yeah, I agree with you.

Either he is insecure or he is guilty. It sounds like it could be possible that he is doing exactly what he accuses you of doing.
