Why is Yahoo! Answers so filled with hatred, sex, swearing, illicit avatars…cant we have at least some purity in this world??? I don’t mean to complain but I just cant understand why everyone is doing this???

hey..yeah..you're right..too many "explicit" content are roaming everywhere..even here, in Yahoo Answers...
this is ONLY a part of the real world (sad to say)..
people associate these things with "fun" and "pleasure" but even if how many times they did these things, they soon get tired of it, because this isn't "happiness"...
honestly,
i was once like this.. i used to do these vices...but later i changed...i want to be pure in any circumstance..in evry temptation, in every word i speak, and every action i do. I pray to God that he will give me more energy and perseverance to resist these temptations..and I pray to him someone who can be an inspiration.
This is what Jesus says in the Beatitudes..
"Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Meaning, those who are pure, inspite of these impurities, who remain steadfast on their beliefs and human morality against media, etc...pressures...could be truly happy.
..and are rewarded greatly in Heaven..=D..
(yes-true happiness Victory).
don't worry too much about these things, stay pure, stay happy, stay modest, and stay chaste. That's what Jesus wants.
now, i hate seeing girls in revealing outfits (i swear!) because they do not promote
"love" but "lust"..and I hate them doing things that takes of their human dignity..virginity..morality....(hehe)
.and i try to be good in all times..=)

It could be that Yahoo! Answers is nothing more than a realistic reflection of the societies in which we are currently living.
If you must have purity, then you will probably need to go somewhere else. I am not suggesting that you leave, just remember that you can be in the world without being a part of the world.
Don't get upset with those things that you cannot change. You don't need to accept them. Just don't get upset about them.

Are you complaining because you want to no longer would desire to be subject to any dissenting comments? in case you weren't attentive to it, in 2004 over sixty two,000,000 American voters voted to re-choose President Bush. it is not comparable to conservatives or Republicans are a uncommon or endangered species. we are everywhere, and in purely approximately equivalent numbers to the Democrats and left-wingers. So, is your theory based on the actuality that there are extra conservatives right here than on your instantaneous circle of pals, and to that end it form of feels to be lots? or possibly that is purely that your questions invite extra of a reaction from conservatives?

Well, today's world is not a place for the Polly Purebreds anymore. Sex drugs, and everything else is so engrained in our psyche's that it would take years of deproggramming to rid us of it all. Only thing you can do to really escape it any more is become either Mormon, or Amish.
