I know that I am going to sound like a broken record but I hope you study your butt off, make those teachers work hard ask lots of questions, study before you party, bad grades in HS will mess up your life. I would give my right arm, and a leg to be able to go back to HS and study, more, and do my work. Don't get wrapped up in the BS of school, and just make a good life for yourself. Study,challenge yourself and work hard. At times it may seem like you are missing out of something good, party, concert, hanging out, but without a very good education, you won't have a good job. A bad job won't give you too much free time to party, afford to go to concerts, etc... I am sorry if this sounds like a lecture, but I have pissed my life away and live with too many regrets. when i go back im going to be in yr 11 too. dont go back till september though!
dont be nervous its just like going back after a weeks break for easter or something, however there will be a change to ur timetable (wich you may or may not like or want to ajust to)
a new bunch of year 7's and missing the yr 11's from b4. apart from them changes its the same as a normal school day.
after your first day back and you get used again to the layout of the school and the how the day goes i.e times of lessons
then you'll realise its the same.
dont be nervous youve already got your friends and have had a few years to get used to the school and the teachers
imagine how the new ones feel. they have to get used to changing classes for different lessons, used to how big the school is, how many more kids there are in the school, making new friends, new lessons, EVERYTHING IS NEW & DIFFERENT but this isnt the same with you.
get intouch with friends and make a time to meet up either outside the school or in the school somewere then all go in together (sounds cheesey but me and my mates do that).
good luck with your new year at school but remember
you'll only be nervous on ur first day cos ur not used to being back but when that bell goes for home it'll be just like old times with loads of kids pushing past you to run home (mainly the new ones) lol
i take it your american because year 11 over here is the last year.

you are doing way better than I did in school......be proud!! I can't believe that your summers are so short these days!! I never went back to school til after Labor Day!! You deserve big stars just for hanging in there!! Wish I would have done the same!! Never give up and never surrender! Here is a hundred millions stars for you.....even if they are only in my head!! Conduct your self in a manner that will build good memories.
Make friends with your teachers.
Pick your friends wisely.
Be all you can be to the best of your ability.
Go there with the intentions to learn and work on your grade point average.
Remember you go to school to learn, not just to have fun.
Be friendly and let nature take it course.

Go in with confidence in yourself and don't let anyone break down your goals. If you do good now, your college could be paid for in the future and you can achieve whatever you hold in your heart. Or you could get pregnant, go on welfare, and live a very short life.
