we meet them and they feel we need to help there family!
money support help moving fixing there problems working on there houses or cars you name it

why do you aim this only at women...I take it you do not like us much!...are you lonely and bitter...do you have a woman in your life or a family to LOVE and SUPPORT....this is what its about .you make it seem like us women are so needy... huh think again. It can be both ways ...or havent you worked that out yet! obviously not!.There are plenty of women out here who actually support their families all on their own whether it be financially, emotionally, physically or all of that rolled into one, we can also do thigs around the hous elike fix broken taps etc etc,whatever it maybe we can do it! also to add that many of us also support our man, who if in some cases are a no good lazy *** who lives off his woman.....SO get over yourself and open up your eyes!

Well since you didn't tell us a lot about your situation. I can only say be realistic about it.
Helping her family out financially, I'll agree with you there. You should never lend money to family or friends. It will only cause problems in the future. Of course if you want to give them some money to help them out, then sure go ahead, you just have to take into consideration why they need the help in the first place.
If they have gotten into trouble financially then you have to figure out why they are in trouble. If it's simply because they have poor money management skills and are trying to live beyond thier means, then no don't give them any money. They will just have to learn how to properly manage thier money, and start living with what they earn. Giving them money won't do them any good in this case. It's the old saying, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach the man how to fish and you feed him forever. If you happen to be good with managing money, and they are not, then help them create a budget, that would be all you could do.
Now if they have gotten in trouble financially because of some disaster, like oh say the father had a heart attack and can't work. Then sure i don't see any reason not to help them out in thier time of need.
In either case, you have to think of your own needs first. If you don't have any extra money, then obviously you can't help them out. And always remember you shouldn't have to do without because your wife/girlfriends family failed to plan for emergencies or thier every day finances properly.
As far as the other things, it's like this, your getting involved with her. Weather you are dating her, or marrying her it makes no difference really. She wants you to get involved with her family because well she wants them to like you, and she's hoping you will get to know them well enough for you to like them too.
Things like help moving, working on houses, working on cars is ok in fact i would suggest doing it. Look at it this way not only are you working on forming a relationship with your woman, but the family comes with her and working on a relationship with them is going to be beneficial if you plan on being with her for a long time. Plus if you think about it, you may need help moving one day, or help working on your house, or help working on your car. Which means you will be able to call in a favor, and they will be willing to do it because you helped them or someone else in thier family out.
Honestly women only do what you are saying in order to build a relationship between you and her family. It's not really a bad thing. Granted i wouldn't suggest you spend your every free moment helping her family out, after all, you do need to have time to do the things that you want and need to do.

If you want her and her family to like and accept you then just help them with a smile on your face. If you are to lazy to help her family then she needs to get rid of you. If you care about her and her family is important to her then you shouldn't mind helping her.

I think you should just man up and help people out. obviously if your girlfriend means alot to you she wants you to become close to her family and that is by helping them out.
