the way to a peaceful break up is by breaking her in person and say the real reason behind it.don't hesitate to tell why you're breaking her.and take note not to say that "it's not you, its'me" or say "sorry " because ater breaking her heart into a hundred pieces it won't help her anyway.just tell her that you cherish and enjoy the time you've been together. it will somehow ease the pain.and if you really do sorry for the breakup don't say bad things about her,in front of her and all the people you know.and dear don't offer friendship as a sourgrape it will just add to her bitterness.let time heal all those pain both of you would feel and when the right time comes along that friendship will bloom if it's really meant to be for the both of you.you'll never know after that sad breakup still in the end it's the two of you who will meet at the end of the road called "love"

Just tell the person that you really care for them, but that you realize that your goals are different, and you think that it would be best to allow them to find someone that had the same goals in life. Tell them that youwill always care about them and be there as a friend for them if they need you.

that is how I remained friends with all of my exs.

There is no peaceful break-up. Somebody always gets hurt.

the more you mean to that person, the more they will hurt. if they don't hurt, it's because they don't care.
