Spurs and Phoenix.
Spurs, if the rings are not testament enough, here is my explanation. Spurs, is lead by the cool-headed, team driven Tim Duncan. With Duncan as their anchor and main man the Spurs naturally would follow his lead of being team driven players. Speaking of fundamentals he is not called the 'Big Fundamentals' for nothing.
Phoenix Suns, they're the most exciting team, again lead by a team player, Steve Nash. They share the basketball and play it well using their run-and-gun style of play.
Maybe the reason why their play-off match-up, was widely anticipated.

Without a doubt the San Antonio Spurs. They are fundamentally sound both offensively and defensively. First off, their offense works well because the entire team is selfless. They don't have a player who constantly asks for the ball and takes difficult shots, the player that scores is the player that has the best possible shot attempt. If Tim Duncan is in the post and finds an open guy, he'll pass out without thinking. When Tony Parker is driving to the lane with a bunch of defenders, he can easily passout to his teammates. All of the players know their roles offensively.
Defensively they are the best team in the league. Tim Duncan is a great low-post defender and averaged a bunch of blocks in these past playoffs. Bruce Bowen is arguablly the best perimeter defender right now. And everybody else contributes in helping defend. And they have a great coach that preaches defense.
A lot of players on the team are old, but it goes to show you don't need tremendous athleticism to be a great player or team. The Spurs may not be a fun team to watch, but they are fundamentally sound in almost every aspect of the game.

San Antonio (They are the 4-Time NBA Champs for a reason)
Detroit (Their team is made up of a bunch of good players but there is no superstar on that team. It helps the team play well together because you have no ego issues to deal with if a player doesn't get enough touches in a game)
Phoenix (When you've got Steve Nash running the point, you're guaranteed to have everyone working together and sharing the ball)

The Spurs, that's why they're so boring to watch, and the Suns because Nash can create a play for any teammate at any given time. Plus he has Marion, Stoudemaire, Barbosa, Bell, and now Hill.
