My experience has taught me that certain UC's are more selective than others and Berkeley, Los Angeles and San Diego are at the top of the list.
If you're looking to go to UC Riverside, you're definitely in luck because your chances of getting accepted into one of the abovementioned 3 universities is less than at the others (Santa Barbara, Davis, Merced.....you get the point)
But I would recommend applying to them all anyway, they are all very good schools.
Good luck! :)
Hope this helps.

According to the College Board, UC Riverside admitted 83% of its applicants. UCLA admitted 26% of its, and UC Berkeley admitted 24% of its applicants. Obviously, UC Riverside is therefore much easier to get into.

It's generally known that UCLA and UC Berkeley are one of the hardest to get into due to the amount of applicants. UCLA has the most college applications taken throughout the whole country so it's quite tough.
UC Riverside, Irvine, and Merced don't have as much and generally accept more of those that apply.

Yes, UC Riverside accepts about 80% of their applicants. A little more I think.

yes... UC Riverside is very easy to get in to...
but, UC Riverside is the worst UC school.
if you think UC Berkeley or LA is too hard for you,
then why don't you try applying for UC Davis, Santa Cruz
or Santa Barbara? those are all pretty easy to get in to...
GOOD LUCK!!!

UCR and Merced are the easiest to get into. If you think Cal, LA and SD are a little too hard, then try for Davis or Irvine. If those two are too hard, then go SB and SC. Apart from the top three, the rest are relatively easy to get in, although Davis and Irvine are still not guaranteed...

Yep. That one's probably the easiest one of the UCs to be accepted to.
