yes i do & that is the power of empathy...to be able to feel for someone else even though it's not your pain..& even if you do not know them...

i would. though no one cares for me.
i have. even under the same circumstances.
i will. even if the above never changes.
i dont need to feel loved, in order to love others. if no one ever cared for me, that does not mean i shouldn't care for others. You dont have to be my best friend in the world for me to care if you are hurting and going through a difficult time. But that's just how i am. When it comes down to it, regardless of who we are, or what we do for a living, or where we live..... we all have pain, and are all hurting at certain times in our lives. That comes as part of life. So, yes, knowing that fact.... i most certainly could and would care, if someone i didnt know was hurting.

Oh, alright, so I'll be the first mean, bitter jackass to say no, I wouldn't care. There was a time in my life that I would have, but I have seen all too often that people who didn't know me (and some who did, and were supposed to be my friends/family) didn't care if I was hurting, so I don't see any point in expending the concern. Are You hurting??? There are millions of people all around the world hurting as we speak, we can only pray 4 people sometimes, God hears. Lots of people care.

I'm a sucker for that. When someone else is hurting, I can feel that pain and would do just about anything to stop it. No one should ever be hurt, and if I can help it, they will not be sad when they are around me!

Yes I am one of those bleeding heart people...it's hard for me not to give bum's spare change! Or donate to the food bank or blankets for the homeless.....
