I was in in Tanzania once at beach resort close to Zanzibar, called the Silver Sands. I met this blond, blue eyed German girl who just got back from hiking Kilimanjaro. Anyway, we started talking as we lie on the beach and it started to rain. She wore a spandex red one-piece that began to show her private parts as the rain melted down between her legs. Her body was tan and athletic and when she laughed her breasts jiggled prettily. She was sharp and funny and her teeth were very white. She faced me open legged and I was flattered by her honesty. I took her to dinner that night at the resorts restaurant on the beach-front. She had lights in her eyes and a sexy vein stood out on her forehead when she laughed. Her eyes were all for me. We talked all through the night. Later, we went down to the surf, away from the lights, neither of us speaking and holding hands. We did not take each other, but I tasted the rain on her legs, and she the ocean on mine. She left the following day, back to Berlin.
I slipped a love letter in her baggage before she went. She e-mailed me several weeks later after finally unpacking, just finding the letter. She told me that whenever she hears the song Africa by Toto, she thought of me. As for me, she will be hard to forget.

NO. Rain sucks. Unless its frozen, in which case, rain rocks. I hate the rain, tell me what fun comes from rain? Yea you get to sing and dance in the rain, whooptdy do, you can do that in snow. And theres been some bad memories with rain, like bike riding down a hill and sliding and scraping my leg up horribly. Ouchies.

Back home. It rains a lot where I grew up at. I guess it reminds me of my childhood. When life was innocent and carefree. When summer vaction was 3 months off from school and you didn't have to come home until dark. Riding my bike all over town and playing around with my buddies. I miss the rain these days.

My Grandparents both loved the rain. Even though they died several years apart when they were buried there was the sweetest light mist that fell. It seemed so appropriate. Mmm
