Doesn't really matter, it shows someone cares either way. Also, it takes no trees to send an e-card, so yes, I guess it would be the e-card (e for environmentally friendly! ;)

I'd rather receive an actual greeting card because it's something I can hold in my hands and even save if I really like the card. An e-card is a card I can only view on my computer, but a real card...I can view it anytime.

Well honey, there are 2 ways to look at it :-
1. E-Card - It has animations that are really cute and adorable and most females love them, but there are some female who thinks that this is childish, waste of time, etc;
2. Greeting Card - This can either be bought or hand-made and there are times when one can either print out a picture created in the CPU or draw the picture and place it on the card either to impress one's partner or to give her the message that this is made specially for her.
If you ask me, I will make a greeting card instead of e-card or bought from a source to express my love for the girl. To be frank, I've made a card for my ex-girlfriend and told her that whatever's in the card is something money cannot buy. That something is non other than LOVE and I really love her till now, just that time has taken its toll and against our wishes, we parted.
I meant every word I said to her, but her parents insist her of marrying another guy and now, after years apart, I met her on the street, with a child after her divorce. She's more hagged and worn out than before.

It doesn't matter to me either way. An e-card is just as nice when the sender takes the time to write you a personal message! People often send greeting cards & don't write anything meaningful inside of it. They just sign their names!
I just want it to convey a personal message especially from them to me, no matter if it is an e-card or a greeting card.

E-card. In today's world we should be doing whatever we can to protect nature. We have the ability to communicate in many ways over the internet and we should be using it to our advantage and not killing more trees. The greeting card will most likely end up in the garbage anyways.

The actual card is always nice, but an E Card creates less clutter so today I go for E cards... ...

An actual greeting card. E-cards are really impersonal. The person sending it didn't even get their butt out of their chair to send it to you...
