No, smiling releases more endorfins than cutting does, and plus it doesn't hurt! Laughing is 20 times better than both! Go to youtube.com and watch some funny videos rather than cutting yourself. It doesn't hurt, it releases tons of endorfins, and makes you forget your worries! Oh yeah, and stop listening to My Chemical Romance!

no i do not. my chemical romance is a good band! to tell you the truth I've thought about cutting myself. but its not worth losing your life over. i don't just mean physically. i mean mentally as well. you would go into this stage were all you wanted was out of your life. and you try to get out. it messes with your head. you start to think "this is the only way out" when its not. I'm not saying cutting yourself is suicide. but it does represent something that could lead to such acts as suicide or depression.

I would just like to tell all of the ignorant people who answered this questions prior to me answering that they're the ones that are stupid. "Emo" kids are not the only people that feel the need to cut themselves. They probably all know people who do and they just do not make it known to the world. Lots of people do it. I personally have never cut myself but I did participate in drug and alcohol abuse to try to get away from the pain. Neither method is really that effective.

used to. I have a cool heart scar on my stomach from it and afew other cool scars but I'm kinda out off that stage in life. Now I just cry it out or go running its a whole lot less painful and it always makes me feel good unlike cutting did.

I do not personally.. I have tried.. Nothin' serious though I've got true friends who have and do sometimes.. It helps to feel in control... but poor way if you ask me.. You are in control of Your own destiny so --lay Problems fears troubles Pain regret hatred all that !!!! Give it to jesus Lay it upon him and he will take them away... Surrender your life.. That is what he did for all of us... When I am in control i screw up but now that i try to live for god I am making A lot better decions

Nope. I hate the sight of blood. You shouldn't cut yourself either. Respect your body, it's the only one you got.
