you probably won't, but it's not wise to skip pills ever. You can't wait one more day? The side effects are likely to come back when you start your new pack. You don't have to live with side effects, ask your dr to put you on something different. Try different BC's until you find something that works.

If you skip a day of taking the active pill, there is an increased risk of pregnancy for a period of days after that. You should never skip a day.

Yes, if you miss a pill and do not take it as soon as you remember, you can become pregnant. Why take the chance? If you are not happy with the side effects then see your doctor about other options (there are plenty out there these days) but dang it, TAKE YOUR PILL.

It will only be bad if you get pregnant and don't want to be. Birth control pills are 99.9% effective. The leftover 1% accounts for human error, or forgetting to take your pill. You know what we call people who miss their birth control pills, don't you? Parents! If you want to "give your body a rest" I advise one of two things; stop having sex altogether and sleep, or visit your physician and intelligently discuss viable options for you. Until then, take your pills as directed.
