Has anything really embarrassing happened to you?

I remember once, when I was in 8th grade, me and my friend were going to Panera just for fun. My guy friend in 7th grade always wanted to come with us so I invited him. Well, 10 minutes later my friend (from 8th grade) tells me the entire 8th grade class is going (only 8 people though). I'm like cool and I even call one of them to make sure he got the message. Now, I'm already unpopular enough, so the next day I show up, all fine and dandy, when one of the 8th graders runs up to me like "did you invite soandso?". I immediatley felt embarrassed and muttered "yes". Then, she gave this annoyed grunt/sigh and went to tell the rest of the 8th grade. Now, I thought they all liked the 7th gradefriend because they were always nice and goofed off with him... well it turns out they all disliked and were annoyed by him. So they're all pissed at me plus they thought I liked him. It was the most awkward 8 hours plus dinner I've ever had nd I felt like crying the whole time. I know it doesn't seem

embarrassing but at the time I wanted to crawl into a whole. Well I just remember that out of the blue so I thought I'd share. Anyways, have any embarrassing stories of your own to share?

i can't remember one.... my mom and i were shopping and i bent over and farted really loud and the lady next to us gave me a really weird look...

When I was in high school, some friends dropped by. One of the guys had permission to drive the family VW so they were going to the beach and invited me along. I grabbed my swim suit, a towel and some lotion. I'd change in the car when we got there. After we found a place in the sand to set up blankets, cooler, etc., I headed back to the car to change. As I got out of the car, one of my friends approached asking what I was doing in the car. I told her Then she told me that wasn't our car. I was mortified. What if the driver had returned to his car to find me changing clothes? She shared my
embarrassing moment with everyone. After all, what are friends for?

I was in the play Alice in Wonderland in HS. I was the Cheshire Cat. They dressed me in a black spandex cat suit and glued white felt stripes on just the front of my body. The idea was that when the Cheshire cat is supposed to disappear, they would turn the house lights off and a black light on. My stripes would glow in the black light and then I'd turn around and "disappear." (Hey, think EXTREMELY low budget.) So yeah, I found out at the end of the first show that the black spandex cat suit did not stand up to the black light. The Cheshire Cat didn't disappear that night. When they turned the black light on, my white bra and thong glowed through my cat suit. In front of 500 people no less.

Tripped and FELL on stage going for a final bow in a dance recital in front of about 300 people and it was being videotaped for posterity of course!!

I'm sure I had lots of stuff happen in school, too, but I don't remember it, now....I must have blocked it in my mind!!
I'm sorry you feel so devastated about this--only time will help you, honest, I know, I have been there !!
In 10 years, you won't even be TALKING to most of these people, except for your real friends, so hang in there !!!
