There are so many times when certain straight people claim that homosexuality is immoral because it is not natural. Well, I'd like to know what your idea of "natural" really is. Don't just paste a definition from a dictionary. I want your idea of what natural means in a more personal sense.

Chier- say you applied your definition to animals: Even if there is a normal behavior and complementary atypical behavior, couldn't both behaviors be considered to be natural? Nature is a very complex thing. Nuances are just as important as the bigger concepts.
Say a star goes nova every so often in the galaxy. If a star was to violate that general principle, it may not be normal, but it would still be natural.
Normal does not necessarily mean natural.

Hmmm...that's a really interesting question. "Natural" to me means non-synthetic: not conjured up by anyone. And it means normal (or as normal as anything can get). More healthy than unhealthy. Stemming from biology rather than from human manipulation.

Natural to me would be something that would happen in nature Like, a microwave is not natural because it was created by humans.
Stuff that isn't created or derived from human interaction.
And homosexuality occurs between animals, and animals are natural, so I'd say homosexuality is natural. Of course that is a generic answer, but humor me.

Well, that computer they use to post the comment about homos not being natural is of course nature. Didn't you know computers and electricity grow on trees?
Natural... what does it mean to me? Well... if a person turns out a certain way with no assistance, then that is a natural situation. Gays are gay without anybody making them that way, same with trans. They are natural.

What you are talking about can be looked at statistically. You take a human behaviour and find out that, say, 95% of people show exclusively heterosexual behaviour. This you call normal or natural behaviour (the norm) - so that the remaining 5% are not in 'the norm'.

Whatever feels right for you (excluding drugs and stuff like that)... I mean, love is a natural thing because it's pure feelings between 2 persons, why would it be unnatural or immoral.
