A lot of schools have programs in actuarial science, but if that isn't available, try statistics.

If there's no specific degree in actuarial science, then either statistics or math. You might actually be better off with statistics or math, anyways, since rising up the ranks depends mostly on passing math tests, and those degrees open other possibilitiesup to you more easily if you change your mind.
