I have never had a question deleted before... tonight I got a question deleted and I can't imagine what was wrong with it. It was a question about the feud between Bert from the Used and Gerard from MCR. And it got deleted??
Can anyone who has been here longer or who knows more please enlighten me on exactly why a question gets deleted?

Someone who didn't aggre with you reported you as spam and they blocked it. It wasn't ur fault. MCR is much Better Than the used.

I can tell you there is no rhyme or reason why a question would be deleted or a violation would be sent. I have never been suspended, but I hope that if such server action would be taken that some human being actually looks at the question/answer before they (Yahoo) takes an action like that. I haven't had a question deleted but I have had two violations over ridiculous answers, I appealed and never heard anything from anyone. Don't take it personally, unless you feel someone is out to get you. Make sure you block any information, go to your profile, from all but your contacts. There are to many weird people in this world.

I have come to realize that Yahoo's question filter is flawed. Perfectly legitimate questions often go unposted or get deleted.

You were just hit by a Hater. They reported abuse and Yahooey yanked it. We all get it sooner or later. That's the downside of this place.

Someone probably didn't like it or you answered a question and someone didn't like your answer so they reported you just to be a jerk. Happens all the time on here.

Hun, ANY question can get deleted. You're not the only victim. Heck, I think you're lucky to receive only one violation. Don't lose sleep over it. =) Cheers.

they get deleted if they're reported
so someone reported you for no reason.
just re-ask the question, it's alright.

yahoo is faulty, they or anyone for any reason can delete it if they find it to go against the guidelines which I think are stupid myself

They do that to me too. I ask perfectly nice questions, and BOOM. They're deleted.
