Utter is to speak.
Cows have one udder
Your minor spelling error caused me a little problems but I think this article will help you with the spelling and your question.
According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Udder
"An udder is the mammary organ of female cattle and some other mammals, including goats and sheep.
A cow has one udder and four teats or nipples, while goats have two teats on their udders."

"Utters"? You meant UDDERS, right? First, all cows are female. Males are called bulls. Second, udders are mammary glands - glands that produce milk for the young. Only female mammals have these. Both sexes have horns in most cattle breeds, though some have been bred to lack them and they are often removed for safety reasons in those that normally have them. Orla C is mistaken about castrated males. A castrated male is called an ox. A bullock is just a young bull, the same way a heifer is a young cow.

A cow will only have one udder (Note the spelling). On that udder there are four (I think it was four) teats.
