Is it true that it is easier to run if you keep you back straight and don't hunch over. And if not what is the best technique?

You run upright and natural.

if you are conditioning for football, leaning forward is going to help your speed as you condition your sprints...
but thats not "hunching over".

Well doing anything you should always have your back straight. If you continue to have your back hunched over you will have back problems soon. When running keep your back straight, head up and pump your arms fast from your ear to you waist. Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Make sure you stretch before and after running. For football do sprints, alot of them that will be better.

Well with running. the hole keeping you back straight thing and breathing in through you nose and out through you mouth only works while jogging. But a lot of coaches want you yo sprint so the best thing to do is not let it get to you and when you finish the sprint put your hands on you head and breath in though you nose and out through you mouth. I hope this helps

I would wear a sports bra if you are going running, especially if you have back problems. If you have never worn one before you should try it. The backing that is sewn into some sports bras is extremely supportive and you will feel your shoulders straightening up and back tightening up to perfect posture just from wearing one. This is similar to compression you get from compression shirts, but bras are especially good for good posture. That probably sounds strange, if you think so just wear a t-shirt over it.
