my wife and i are considering having sex, she is about 37 weeks pregnet nad dialated to a four..well tight four from what the doc says...any how.. it was just a consideration but has anyone done this or any docs, nurses think its ok????? thanks serious answers only please............

Go for it! Having sex will only speed things up for her, she is at full term already so dont worry about the baby being premature.
Im 36 weeks pregnant and doc says its ok to have sex.

Having sex is fine. My wife and I did, our doc recomended it, not only to have fun but to help get labor going. I'll just say it helped a lot. You can't hurt anything, the baby is well protected and depending on your feeling about it sex right now can be really fun.. Go for it!!!! enjoy yourselves

I have heard a lot of people say that they have sex to try and throw you in labor. Honestly I have never heard anyone that said that .... that it really happened. I would consider asking the dr. though. I would think it is ok only because of always hearing that but I don't know your wife's situtation on everything. (like history and how her pregnancy has been going). My opinion ask dr. first. Good luck and have fun!

I was 39 wks and dialated to 2 with my 1st son and still had sex, my doc said that I could until my water broke. after my water broke it would cause infection

Having sex is perfectly normal at this point! It could actually help her become more dialated! Just as long as she is confortable, it should be fine! but try to avoid the woman on bottom position! good luck!

It's perfectly fine. (It may actually induce labor, you never know... maybe want to wait til 38 weeks?)
It'll be a while before you can have sex following pregnancy, so I say go for it! (If you're worried, you can ask her doc, but if she's had no risks/ complications so far, I guarantee they'll give you the green light.)

It depends on if you think you are ready to have the baby... all the doctors say sex may bring on labor. I would say if you all are ready to bring on labor then go for it. The baby should be fully developed so I wouldn't worry about anything like that. It's all up to you guys...

sex is safe 'till the water breaks, unless the dr says no. Try it, it may not be the best sex of your life but it can't hurt. And it may push her over the edge and get labor going!

most people have sex while the girl is pregnant. and its safe. a lot of times they dont even know the girl is pregnant haha. its safe up until delivery.

dont mess anything up
