I agree, it's all quite normal, it's old cells being shed from your vagina. If, it doesn't clear up have a check-up with your doc. & wear a pad in the meantime.

You're probably either spotting (when little bits of blood leak out between periods), or your body is expelling some leftover blood that's been sitting there since your period (it's always cleaning itself, so this is a normal occurrence). Another less likely possibility is that you may have gotten a slight tear in your hymen (this can happen from dancing, horseback riding, gymnastics, and a great number of other non-sexual activities), and the blood from that has turned brown, which just happens to blood after a few hours.

female bodies are all types of weird and have surprises around every corner. so take a deep breath and relax. what happens is... your body cleans itself out. have you ever had a clear or whitish discharge in between your periods? this is quite normal. but if there was excess blood... your body would discharge it at this time. it is brown because it is not fresh or new. as long as it only lasts a day or two, it's not a heavy, regular flow, and there's no pain... you are 100% completely normal.... also, if you are young, your body may not be completely regulated yet. so it may have other issues going on as it is trying to get a normal regular cycle going on. this is normal, too.

Its ok, what you are seeing is normal. I am happy you are seeking advice for these kinds of things. Your vaging cleans itself regularly and just happened to find some excess blood. You know it is old because it is brown. Even though Im a guy, I hope this helps.

It could be old blood, but you need to have it checked out.
If there is a possibility you could be pregnant and if you also have a dull ache in your back please see your doctor immediately.
This can be symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy and there are other causes of dark brown discharge and your symptoms need to be assessed by a doctor.

More than likely it's just a bit of leftover old blood. Wear a mini pad until it goes away - probably a day or two.

It's fine. That is normal. It happened to my friend too, and then I looked it up for her in one of those teen books, and they said that it was normal.
