if i have a girl her name will be either Sydney Faye-Ruth (Faye after hubby's grandma and Ruth after my mom) or Sydney Nicole-Ruth (Nicole just cause it's prettty ) and tell me how u like my boy's full name it will be Shawn Christian Aldean Bunch (Shawn, after my deceased cousin,Christian after hubby, Aldean after my grandpa and hubby's middle name< it's a long name because i'll only be able to have one child nd we'll call him "Shawn Christian" what do u think?

Why such long names? Why not try to combine names into something different. Maybe instead of Faye-Ruth, use Raye.

First of all I like the Sydney Faye - Ruth the best out of the girls name. Second I really like the boys name other than it is a little long. This is your baby though and you do what you want. Good luck!

I think Sydney is adorable and I understand the reason you want to use Faye-Ruth. Would it bug you not to hyphenate it - it's fine if you like it hyphenated but I think the 3 names would be nice together. I like Nicole but that lets out the joy for Grandma Faye. I love the boy's name, all 3 of them sound fabulous together. Your lucky your family has chosen nice names in the past!

I think he's going to have a lot of little circles to fill in on standardized tests under "Name."
I like Sydney Ruth.
I like Shawn Christian (but prefer the spelling Sean). Aldean? Is Bunch a middle name? You know, the kid will have your husband's LAST name... isn't that enough? Why do you have to name it after everyone under the sun? Can't you just put up some family photos?

for a girl, i'd go for Sydney Faye-Ruth because of the sentimental meaning after his grandmother.
I think the boys' name is fine. If i ever have a boy, he'll be Bruce Campbell-Lee Kalmbach (after my bf's favorite actors Bruce Campbell and Bruce Lee) and our daughter would be Beatrix Uma-Rose Kalmbach(after my favorite actress,Uma Thurman, her Kill Bill character,Beatrix Kiddo and my favorite flower,which has symbolic meaning to me). I see nothing wrong with three names,though. Besides, he could always go by middle initials Shawn C.A. Bunch or Sean Christian A. Bunch,or whatever. But no, i don't think it's too long. I mean, look at Royalty...

I really love Sydney Faye Ruth it flows so niceley and its very pretty!
and Shawn Christian Aldean Bunch is a very nice name and long.lol. but if u didnt want his name to be long you could possibly take out Chritian and then the name could be used for one of his childes... christian or christianne i dunno just a though...
