I believe that whether your periods are regular or not I believe that you could ovulate at different times. Me as an example. For 2 months I did not ovulate and the third month I was expecting my period and instead that is when I ovulated and now I will not get my period for at least 2 weeks. The thing that is important is knowing the signs and symptoms of ovulation by physical signs or by store bought items. Good luck to you:)

Yes. Ovulation is normally 14 days before your period starts, so if you start at a different time every month it is hard to tell when you are ovulating. Ask your doctor about going on Yasmin for 3 months to regulate your period. I had a problem with my periods after coming off the Depo shot and this helped. I got pregnant 2 weeks after stopping Yasmin.

Ovulation mandates when your period will start. Once you ovulate, your period will come in about two weeks. So if your periods are irregular, so is your ovulation.

It's also possible to have periods without ovulating. It's called an anovulatory cycle.

Good luck.

In most cases, yes. That is one of the first signs of an ovulation problem is cycle irregularities. I've heard that Vitex can help level out your hormones, and increasing your chance for pregnancy.
